Description

The Art of War is a Chinese text dating from the sixth century B.C. on the nature of warfare. Written by Sun Tzu, a brilliant and innovative military expert, The Art of War has been studied for centuries by the world’s militaries and historians as well as in the realm of big business. In thirteen chapters, Sun Tzu’s masterpiece covers every aspect of waging war—the crucial decisions that must go into planning an attack, the keys of success on the battlefield, assessing terrain and resources, calculating the enemy’s strength, and the use of spies. Great military campaigns have been fought and won with the help of this ancient Chinese book. Whether interpreted literally or metaphorically, The Art of War has tried and true advice for strategists of all kinds.

A True Classic

There are reasons some books survive to become utter classics in our age. In a world of fast-moving narratives, flashy commercials, and fast food, nothing ever lasts. The Art of War is a timeless classic for a reason. Wonderful to read in short bursts.
