About the Author
Kathryn Ross was born in Zambia to an English father and an Irish mother. She was educated in Ireland and England, where she later worked as a professional beauty therapist before becoming a full-time writer. Most of her childhood was spent in a small village in southern Ireland; she says it was a wonderful place to grow up, surrounded by the spectacular beauty of the Wicklow Mountains and the rugged coastline of the Irish Sea. She feels that living in Ireland first sparked off her desire to write; it was so rich in both scenery and warm characters that it invited her to put pen to paper. Kathryn doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t scribbling. As a child she wrote adventure stories and a one-act play that won a competition. She became editor of her school magazine, which she said gave her great training for working into the night and meeting deadlines. Happily, ten years later, Harlequin accepted her first book for publication.
