Description
Trigonometry focuses on the mathematics of triangles—their sides and the angles between them. Although it sounds like a humble topic of study, its purpose when it was developed in the 3rd century BC was very noble: early astronomers used the principles and functions of trigonometry to study the heavens. This course covers basic laws and trigonometric functions. A good understanding of geometry will help prepare you for trigonometry, and after you've mastered trig you can move on to the next course in the traditional sequence, pre-calculus.
