Oh so boring and dissapointing.

Normally I am quite in to quotes. These are all so boring and are hardly anything I would use myself.

Not for Skeptical Minds

If you're agnostic, atheist, or just not very religious, don't bother with this book. It'll just annoy you.

Good, but..

What's with all the religious and atheist bashing quotes? Though I guess it does show historically the close-mindedness of people in history.

Rather boring, ponderous, preachy

This book haz been a great disappointment. THe grounds on which quotations were selected are odd since so many available choices could have been so much more interesting, wittty, polished, or amusing. I felt most shared a certain stodgy worthiness that became predictable fairly soon. I could imagine few instances where one of the quotations would inject anything worthwhile - wit, fun, piquancy, or insight - to anythng I might want to express.
