Help your child plan out study time for tests, especially at the beginning of school breaks when tests are given before vacations and at the end of the year. It has been my experience that some students have a difficult time planning out a long term study schedule. These students seem to only respond to deadlines that are impending. Acknowledge that your child may fall into this category and do your best to accept this.
