Reading this, I had a real sense of understanding why Tolstoy is the classic Russian author. It felt like you were reading Pride and Prejudice, or something like that, but everything just sounded so beautiful. Like he's writing in a different plane of being.
Does anyone else picture Anna as looking like Anna Karina? I can't help doing that!

I cannot help but see Anna as Vivian Leigh portrayed her. (or might have portrayed her). I'm greatly influenced by the same actress in her role in "Gone with the Wind".
