The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I truly enjoyed this story, despite reading several fierce criticisms beforehand. I signed up for one installment a day, and found myself requesting them far more frequently. It was an extremely easy read - much like a Sherlock Holmes story in that I was occasionally confused by certain terms for methods of transportation or outdated expressions.
I was interested to see the progression of Benjamin's life, and to see which moments Fitzgerald would skim through in the interest of keeping it as a short story. I was interested to see what became of Hildegarde, but there was no mention of her, if I remember correctly, after Benjamin attended Harvard. I found his whole college experience very interesting; I hadn't thought about the physical differences between upperclassmen and incoming freshmen. I thought it was illustrated nicely by putting Benjamin on the football team, and watching his rapid decline into adolescence.
