From Dracula to Voldemort

Just finished Dracula on DailyLit. One of the pleasures in reading classics is noticing their echoes in more recent works. Case in point, Harry Potter, which I have been reading to my son at night. In "Order of the Phoenix," the crucial twist in the plot arises from a mental link between Voldemort and Harry that might well be based on a similar link between the Count and Mina.
