I've just recently started (today I read segments 11-12) and kind of wish the arrangement didn't have so many "downish" essays at first -- this would never happen in a collection edited today. (perhaps the arrangement is chronological?). But, it is good to have the translations of the latin (too long since highschool when I studied it for years but haven't kept it up...) and the other interpolated notes
