My first novel by this author and I LOVED IT

This was a beautiful picture of two cultures merging. Although it ended bitttersweetly, you see that all of the involved had deep feelings not only about their cultures but themselves and each other that they never really were able to express. Not even to those that were closest to them. I'm looking for another book from this author.
