Guess there is a reason I'd never heard of it

Though it was rather interesting to read about how the castaways made the island a home, the completely implausible ending, the identity of their mysterious benefactor, was so far beyond laughable I was just shaking my head. I have loved other of Verne's works, but this one was a waste of my time. It was free....and I felt I had overpaid. Stupid stupid book.
