easy chekhov read

Well, it was worth the time, which wasn't much, and it was interesting to a point, and had me trying to decide throughout whether I liked either character very much. I reread some of his frank perspective on their relationship and on himself and appreciated the simple honesty there.

Interesting perspective. This is the only Chekhov I've read, and it felt quite peculiar. I couldn't decide if I liked the characters either - they weren't developed enough to really hold an opinion, I think.
