Book & Review Forums: Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass

Put Yourself in a Slave's Place

5 out of 5

This was a great book. It showed the horrors and terrorism the early American slave faced daily. Mr. Douglass was intelligent, learned to read, and perserved in gaining his freedom, but I'm not giving it all away. Do read this book. I advanced to two readings one day, I was so enthralled with his story.
