Book & Review Forums: Wikipedia Tour: The Swinging 60s

US-central, but as expected

4 out of 5

I am happy about the selection of the article. I am not an expert on the topic but the parts about Vietnam War refreshed my memory of highschool history and I now know new tidbits about the "counterculture". I was hoping to find out more about similar movements on other continents, but most of the time the article has more focus on the US, which I supposed is to be expected. Over all quite a fun tour to follow!

  • A lot of people compared what just happened in Egypt to the 60's here in America. So although based on American culture, history does seem to have a pattern that goes beyond national borders.
