I stumbled across another Wilkie Collins book here, The Moonstone, months ago. I liked that one so much that when I finished it, I decided to immediately read The Woman In White. I liked this one even more!

It's a long book, over 600 pages in the print copy, but it never bogs down. It held my interest from first page to last. The characters and story were intriguing, and at the end, all the loose ends were neatly resolved. It was a very satisfying read.

I have many books I’ve enjoyed over the years, but a much smaller number that are my absolute favorites, and The Woman in White has now joined this list.
