Book Requests
Truman Capote
Book requests, I have been wanting to read In Cold Blood by Truman Capote for the longest time... I really like Daily Lit btw... Now I just need to stop reading so much so I can get some work done!

Truman Capote's Portraits and Observations is a collection of all his essays and I found it fascinating. You can get it from a library, but it is addictive!

Glad to hear you're enjoying DailyLit! We'd love to have Capote on DailyLit. But since his works are relatively new, they are still protected by copyright and not free for us to put on the site.

Its quite interesting actually regards book downloads on the net. Project Gutenburg contains an extensive collection that seems to stop at the end of the 19th Century. It also includes some real rubbish that is quite funny, where people write that one book in their life that they feel is within them and that comprises some totally obscure theme. For Truman Capote, try The Burgomeister's Books, but you are limited to 5 per fortnight. In the meantime Daily Lit is still doing a great job.
