HP Lovecraft

Any chance we could get any of HP Lovecrafts works on here?
Been meaning to read them again for ages!

I don't think they're still copyrighted, either - but don't quote me on that.
Cheers.

  • We will try! Any particular titles you'd like to see?

  • Hmm...
The Mountains of Madness & The Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath seem enticing :)
    Thanks.

  • This discussion pops up every so often on the forums. The copyright of all Lovecraft's work after 1923 is still contested in the US (where I believe this site is based).

However, most of his stories are available to read here (which is an Australian site) and therefore not liable to the same copyright laws:

  • I recommend HPL's short fiction over his longer works. I'm reading At the Mountains of Madness at the moment (can't believe I never read it before now) and it's kinda slow going.

    Ia! Ia! Cthulhu fhtagn!

  • I'd love to see any and all of Lovecraft's works, as well as other, similar works by his friends and contemporaries. I hate it when it's time to give them back to my public library!
