To-Read Booklist doesn't let you change order
Whenever I try to click on one of the arrows to move a certain book up or down on the priority order, nothing happens and the bottom bar just says "Error on page". I would like to use the new auto-start feature, but as I have preferred books down at the bottom of the list I am unable to do so.

I'm having the same problem! I have tried on two separate computers to manage my to read book list, but sadly I am unable to change the order.

Sorry about this problem, and sorry, @wellreadscholar, that you didn't get a quicker response--this post must have gotten buried before we saw it.
I just tried changing the order of the books on my booklists and was able to do so by clicking the white arrows.
Could you both tell me which browser you are using? (And what kind of device?)Jun 21, 2009 8:35 pm

Thanks Maggie,
I'm using Internet Explorer on my work computer, home as well. Work is windows xp professional, home is vista, same problem on both.
The white arrows are not "clickable" for me.
Thanks again,

Maggie, I checked IE8 and the arrows do not appear for me either. Neither do the edit controls.
I see them fine in Firefox.Jun 23, 2009 8:46 am

Sorry folks--I forgot to update here. We've fixed the problem (great to hear the arrows are working for you, @sonata58) so the booklists should be working for everyone now!

I am a new member and it let's me click the arrows to reorder the list, but it doesn't save any of the changes I make. Usually after moving a book 3 or more places, I get an error indicating I am editing an old copy of my list and should refresh. The same thing happens after refreshing.
Thanks!Oct 11, 2009 9:18 pm

Looks like there's a bug with IE 8 running on XP. We've filed it as a bug and will work on a fix. I'll update this thread when we've resolved the issue.
