Translators and Abridgements
I'm reading "The Brothers Karamozov." No translator is given, though I notice a translator is given for, say, " Dead Souls." Is it hit and miss like this? Also, can we assume that a book is complete and unabridged, "The Brothers Karamazov," for instance.

I hate that, too. Translator doesn't bug me, but I like to know if I'm getting the whole story.

All books on DailyLit are unabridged unless specifically noted.
Since they're assembled by a wide variety of volunteers, sometimes the translators are included in the classics books we get, and sometimes not. Just let us know when it's missing and we'll do our best to hunt it down.
