To-Read List Order Update

I really enjoy this site, but the process of organizing the books in various lists can be time-consuming and a little annoying.

If I add a new book to my list, it shows up at the very bottom. I may want to put it at the top of the list so it's next in line for an automatic start, but if there are 50 books ahead of it, then that takes 50 clicks of the arrow to get it there.

I think a drag or numerical arrangement (like in the Netflix Queue, which offers both options) for organization would make using the lists so much easier.

Thanks for your time and consideration!

  • (As another example, my list currently has 64 books. I spent some time clicking to get two books from the bottom to the top of the list so they would be ready to automatically start and when I clicked the "save list order" button, it said my changes could not be saved and I had to start over. So that was a little frustrating.) But as I said, overall I really enjoy this site and what it offers!

  • I guess I am the only person who thinks this is a good idea?

  • We know there are problems with the Booklists and they're definitely on our list of things to improve!
