Can't think of a name...
Theres a series of books that i cant think of the name for which is set in the alternate historical universe of the south winning the civil war.
I remember there were alot of books in this series, but the only one i can remember i think was called "Guns of the South"?
If anyone knows the author or the series that would be appreciated.

I think you might be thinking of the "Southern Victory" or "Timeline-191" series by Harry Turtledove. According to the Wikipedia page on Harry Turtledove, this series of alternate history novels consists of several smaller series and has no official title. But, the Wikipedia page doesn't say "Guns of the South" is part of that series, but rather a stand-alone book.
