Neat trick when reading from pc

I consider myself an intermediate pc user but I discovered that you can enlarge the text of any page on the internet simply by pressing Ctrl + or decrease the size by pressing Ctrl -. I found this very helpful because age is creeping up on me and sometimes it's difficult to comfortably read text online. I hope this helps others! Oh, I almost forgot. You have to be using firefox in order for this to work. Don't know if it works with any other browser.

  • Thanks, that's very helpful.
I'm fairly new to this site and i find it difficult to read everything on the screen, but printing things off is too expensive. With a book, I can curl up anywhere and read.

Does anyone have any other tips fpr making reading from a screen easier?

I've given up on two novels via DailyLit, but am now successfully reading my second volume of poetry as these are shorter and clearer on screen. A poem is a great way to start the day!

  • This is a great trick - thank you so much! I shared it with my colleagues at work and they are all passing it on to partners and parents! It seems to work on all our different computer programmes.
