RSS feeds
Not sure if people would find this useful, or if it would be worth it in terms of coding effort, but I thought I'd put the idea out there just in case.
It might be desirable to have RSS feeds for forum topics (Much like google groups) or some other way to track a particular forum thread (maybe in the user profile), in case a user does not check the forums frequently, but would like to follow-up a particular thread. This can be especially helpful when the forums become larger.

I'll second this! I asked a question, and forgot to look for responses for over a week. Either an RSS feed, or a way to subscribe via email to certain threads would be great.
