Translation credits needed

Hi! A friend just recommended me to this site and it looks good! I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but I think it is pretty important to have translation credits available when listing books originally written in a different language than the one the DailyLit text is in.

For example, the Pevear and Volokhonsky translation of War and Peace is significantly different than the Constance Garnett translation. Many classics have multiple translations, each with their own differences, and some people may prefer to read one over the other (or at least know which one they are reading).

Sorry again if this has been covered already! Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks for the suggestion. Since we've used publicly sourced texts, sometimes the translation information isn't included in our editions, but it's a good idea to try and track it down.
