Option to send first part immediately

I just signed up to read a new book. I wanted to get a part at 8am each day, but I also wanted to read the first part right away. I couldn't see any way to "kick start" the feed apart from setting the time to a few minutes from now, then setting it back. I did this, but a "get the first part now" link in the validation email would have been easier. Thanks.

  • There is a "send the first part immediately" link on the confirmation page, which you get to after you click on the validation email. Have other folks missed this link as well?

  • I saw the link, but thought I had to save my preferences first. Once I hit save, I could not get back to the link that allowed the immediate delivery. Thanks.

  • It would seem more logical to me to have a Read 1st Installment Now button in the Check, Remove line to the right of each title or at least on the book's information page. Please?

  • I agree, that would be alot more user-friendly.

  • I missed it. Came to the forums looking for a way to kick-start it. I think the option should be on the Manage Subscription page.

  • I missed it. I didn't even realize the option was there until I happened on to these posts. It is evident that it needs to be more accessible.
