Jane Austen and I share a birthday! I'd get her something that would make her laugh like one of the books based on her works or the Pride and Prejudice board game. I think she'd get a kick out of knowing how much her works still delight people today.

I would give Miss Austen, in the form of a comfortable country cottage and hired help, the ten years she lost in Bath.

I was about to say a snowglobe with a lighthouse in it, then I realize I had confused Austen with Woolf. I've got nothing.

A dowry in event of a marriage, or a sword to kill zombies. I guess it would depend upon the type of day I found her to be in.

A hand-bound journal with an exquisite pen, obviously.

A night in, I think, a small dinner together and a break from writing. We'd cuddle and watch the Notebook.

I would give her a ball in her honor, since she loved to dance.

The perfect guy. She was never married. I think we all could use one of those.
