  • Since I was introduced to Joseph Finder and Laurel Dewey (and am now a big fan of both) on your site; I would say you are in a great position not only to introduce writers to readers, but to do follow-up interviews with writers. I would love to see an interview with either of those writers or possibly one of the writers featured on Book Channel-its a natural fit for your site and would add variety.

  • Another suggestion: I find sometimes I wish you had links to other web-sites like Garrison Keillor's Writers Almanac. And other similar sites that fit well with yours. Maybe other readers could suggest other good fits?

  • @dreamdust: are you thinking that the links should go on DailyLit's website or within the installments?

  • @pachu, we've included on DailyLit Agatha Christie books with rights that are clear for us to publlsh. If there are other mysteries you'd be interested in reading (particularly classic, public domain mysteries or others that have cleared rights), please let me know.

  • @sharls3js: I'm curious why you'd want a PDF format. Also, which kinds of children's literature are you thinking of?

  • @dreamdust, re: your suggestion for author interviews, would you be interested in taped interviews accessible on the site or a group experience in which folks can listen to an author live? We could possibly do both.

  • Susan, The links to the web-site itself, as that would be more helpful to readers I think. As to the author interviews I think both options are good, just a judgement call. And what appeals to people in general, don't you think? Thanks, so much for a great site and considering all of our thoughts!

  • Thank you for replying to my message. There are no books of Enid Blyton's in daily lit. If possible, could you put some of her books here?

  • ...seriously consider the option to have a wider selection of books in other languages. having more books in different languages would enable more people from all over the world to benefit from such a brilliant website as this.

  • Hi Susan. I would prefer a PD format because then it would be easier to download and share with those under-privileged children close to home. I was referring to Traditional Children Literature such as "The Basket of Flowers", "Little Women", "The Little Princess", "Hansel and Gretel","Anne of Green Gables", The Secret Garden", etc... And Fictional Lit. like "Snow White", "Rapunzel","The Little Mermaid" and so on and so forth.

  • Add more CanLit - incredible range of works( Urquart for sure). Also more short book or collections of speeches presented at universities or elsewhere usually focused on one topic and the reult of an invitation. I suspect many could be free or low cost - serious critical thinking by extraoridinary people.
