  • Fiction. I get enough non-fiction in my day-to-day life.

  • I really enjoy both! Fiction to escape, non-fiction when I need "just the facts, ma'am"! But if I had to choose one...I guess it would be non-fiction.

  • Definitely fiction. I read in order to get away to a different world, inside a character's mind, see through their eyes, feel through their skin. I also love sci-fi.

  • I like them both equally. I'm partial to fiction though... maybe because I am interested in the outstanding plots others can invent

  • A good fantasy is hard to resist, sometimes a cheap thrill is just the ticket so fiction has an edge. But non-fiction doesn't have to stick to a plot, so can be mind-blowing.

  • Fiction. Short, long, or in-between, classic, contemporary, sci-fi, western, horror, fantasy, mystery--I've even read a romance or two--story, and compelling characters, are all that's required.

  • Fiction. Nonfiction is good, but does not compare to a good piece of fiction for me.
