• A Northern Light is a great book to give a girl that loves reading. Great for any age over about 12 but probably more geared for a girl between 13 - 20 or so.

• Rhys Bowen's Molly Murphy mystery series is a great page turner! It takes place in the last turn of the century (1900s) in NYC (and Ireland), and the historical facts are very interesting. Oh, and it's got some romance, too.
