  • If I could take a bite out of Spring, it would taste like asparagus.

  • Spring would taste like lemon mousse with lots of lemon zest and a pouf of whipped cream on top.

  • fresh, sweet and leafy, with traces of violet! It's flowertime, not leaf or fruit time. Pears? That's autumn, dear.

  • One of my favorite uses for spring pears is in salads.

  • We'd be at a spring tea party with mint juleps and a variety of fruit tarts and yummie finger foods and everyone wearing lovely spring hats. Spring tastes slightly tipsy and sweet!

  • @NCBookLover -- love that lemon mouse with the pouf of whipped cream; and @dreamdust, love your slightly tipsy and sweet description. @teleny, I didn't realize that pears for spring could cause such a reaction. :)
