I constantly challenge people on a poetry website regarding how our perception of reality, which varies between us all more than we realize, determines how we react to words or a particular word. I would love to see a series of discussions on this.

You may want to check out the little book "Writer's Block". It's a book, shaped like a small block, with one idea per (tiny) page.

I love dvoizin's idea about a multiple authored story. Reminds me of the visual art called ... um, somthing Corpse? One person paints the top of the picture, folds it over so only a smidge of it is visible, mails it to the next artist who paints a continuation, hides it, mails it to the 3rd artist, etc.
