An extremely satisfying romance. The sometimes playful, sometimes fiery conflict between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy spices up the plot. Pride and Prejudice is the cream of the crop of romance novels!
The beginning might be slightly off-putting for readers because of the slow pace, but the book gets better as you move further towards the end. Anne is such a sweet character!
This book is surprisingly readable. Jane Eyre's plainness doesn't matter a bit; she's still a great heroine and her namesake is a must-read.
