Reader Challenges - Encounter with an Angel
After 70 years of marriage, what will I do without him? I watch. I wait. I pray. A tiny shudder. Then, his last breath. A small, soft wisp of soul escapes his lips. Later that night, the angels brought the wisp to me and cradled my face in it. Peace.
Etc. - 50 Word Challenge
When I had a job, I really didn’t want it. Now that I don’t have a job, I sure want a job. Kind of like when I had a husband. My cousin met her current husband in the unemployment office career center. She’s working now. Wonder which one she’ll keep.
