Book Requests - L.M. Montgomery 'Emily' series and 'The Story Girl'
I love The Story Girl and Chronicles of Avonlea! Haven't read the Emily books yet though.
Question of the Week - Favorite Books of 2010
I had several favorites this year. I read Tom Sawyer for the first time and thought it was wonderful. I can't believe I missed reading it when I was growing up. I also read two books for school that I thought were life changing and would recommend to anyone. The books were Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller and Free of Charge by Miroslav Volf. Amazing!
Book Requests - George MacDonald
I agree! I would love to see George MacDonald's books on dailylit!
Question of the Week - What's Your Moby Dick?
I have always wanted to read Les Miserable...started it once, but would need to have a lot of free time to make sure I finished! :)
Book Requests - The Phantom Tollbooth
I don't know if this book is public domain or not, but I'd like to put in a request for The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It was read to me as a kid and I loved it! It's one of those books that takes you back into the world of imagination and possibility and I think other dailylit readers would love it as well.
Question of the Week - Question of the Week #75: Happy Bloomsday!
I'd love to follow Jesus around, or any of the people who were close to him.
