  Better than I expected I had worried that the book would be filled with excess description, just to make the image very clear. I was happy to find that Jules Verne managed to make it clear what happened while leaving much of it to my imagination. Definitely worth reading if you want adventure or a trip without the booking fees. I posted this on 29 June 2009

Journey to the Centre of the Earth - Disappointing

I somewhat agree. Henry and the Prof should have, by all rights, died early in the expedition. I credit Hans with not only keeping them alive, but also keeping me interested.

Journey to the Centre of the Earth - Better than I expected

I had worried that the book would be filled with excess description, just to make the image very clear. I was happy to find that Jules Verne managed to make it clear what happened while leaving much of it to my imagination. Definitely worth reading if you want adventure or a trip without the booking fees.
