Question of the Week - Question of the Week #35: Literary Friends

Arthur Clennam from Little Dorrit would be high on my list. Dirk Gently would be fun, as would Ford Prefect.

Of Human Bondage - Somber, moving, and appropriate.

I've only just started to read this book but already find the work written with a lightness of touch and sensitivity that instantly tells me that I am reading a book I will surely remember for a long time to come.

Question of the Week - Question of the Week #33: Go International

So many to choose from; Eça De Queiroz for The Maias, I loved Maupassant's short stories but my all time favourite has to be One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez for its sheer scale and beauty.
