I think if it comes to pass, a deviantart-style thing would probably be more effective. Select Genre, then copy/paste text of writing into a box, then submit. Easy as that.
Book Requests - More Jules Verne!
Jules Verne is known as one of the Fathers of Sci-Fi, so it sort of saddens me to see that we only have Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea here. Although I have been meaning to read that book for ages, I was rather hoping I could move on to the rest of his works afterwards. Come now, don't keep me disappointed for long!

Haha! If that's what myspace is for, thousands of my peers are using it for all the wrong reasons.
But, I do agree that it'd be a rather cool idea for an amature writer's section. I got a lotta stuff sitting on my Deviantart just waiting for the masses to find it ;)
