Book Requests - The Master of Go
The book is about a retirement match between an older master and a younger challenger. I'm not sure how the English version goes, but the original Japanese one was first published in serial form... which would make it perfect for DailyLit.

Book Requests - Cosmic Anger: Abdus Salam by Gordon Fraser
This is another contemporary non-fiction request. The full title is "Cosmic Anger: Abdus Salam - The First Muslim Nobel Scientist". Abdus Salam was Pakistan's first Nobel Laureate and the first Muslim Nobel Laureate, and for his troubles the poor guy was excommunicated and exiled.
Book Requests - Claim of Privilege by Barry Siegel
Full title is "Claim of Privilege: A Mysterious Plane Crash, a Landmark Supreme Court Case, and the Rise of State Secrets". Supposedly all about how each time the govt invokes the "state secrets privilege", they do it to cover up incompetence or malfeasance.
