What I wish for the world in 2010 is an epiphanic awareness of God; an inner cleansing; an unshakable commitment to truth; a universal discernment of right and wrong; a genuine desire for a more wholesome and purposeful life; an enthusiastic endeavor to pursue happiness for the sake of others, not just for oneself; a grateful appreciation of the many joys and blessings we are granted; a expanding of knowledge, tempered by common sense; a far-reaching deepening of love and wisdom; an insightful setting of priorities, for the individual, the family, the nation; and an inspired eagerness for each to use his talents for the good of all, so that, by the close of the year, the world may experience, as never before, the profound satisfaction of worthy stewardship and of a life well lived.
