The Adventures of Sally - Fun read
This was like reading and old movie, very fun and light! Just what I was looking for to break up the work day!
Fetching Raymond - Wow..
After a tragic event in my neighborhood over the weekend, this was almost fitting for my mindset. Very engaging short story - I want to read the entire book.
The Jungle Book - Great!
I never read this book as a kid, but I must say how well-written and received it was. Great for anybody!
100 Ways to Succeed/Make Money - Opinionated and boring.
As many have mentioned in their reviews, this "book" is a dud. All of the points made are basically things you are taught while growing up. As for the true content, the author basically voices his opinion all the way through - if I wanted to read that, I'd just read the newspaper. Biased encouragement = not for me, and I'm sure not for a lot of others. Read one of DailyLit's other fine offerings and skip this one.
The Secret Garden - True Magic
The lessons in this book are subtle but well received. I enjoyed this book very much, and would read this to my children when I have them!
The Wind in the Willows - Stellar book!
I never read this book when I was younger, and thought now is as good of a time as any. What a thoughtful, cheerful little book! I would pay money to have a hard copy of this for my future children to read.
