It may just be me and my dog.
We are a team. Together forever.
We will never ever part.
Just me and my dog.
His soft warm fur against my face.
His cold moist nose in my lap.
His fluffy bushy tail tickles my cheek.
But it won’t last forever.

The world is silent.
“BANG BANG BANG” the bullets sound.
My parents, friends and family lay around me.
Footsteps, they drift closer and closer.
A man, the enemy, sees me.
I hold my breath, he will surely kill me!
“Go, go he says. You may go free,” he tells me.
