The BookRoll is currently only available as a JavaScript widget. I'd like to be able to put my BookRoll on my Suprglu page, but can't because it isn't available as plain old RSS. There are some other things that can be done with an RSS BookRoll (such as adding it to one's 30Boxes feedlist). So, perhaps making the BookRoll available as JS *and* RSS would be a good idea.
