Wuthering Heights - wuthering heights

I really enjoyed Wuthering Heights. It is hard to get into at first because of the back and forth between past and present. But it does pick up after the first 50 pages. I read it when I was younger and then read it again after reading the Twilight series. Stephenie Meyer definitely tried to parallel Eclipse with Wuthering Heights in different ways. Wuthering Heights is much darker and better written.

Clown in the Moon:

My tears are like the quiet drift
Of petals from some magic rose;
And all my grief flows from the rift
Of unremembered skies and snows.

I think, that if I touched the earth,
It would crumble;
It is so sad and beautiful,
So tremulously like a dream.
