Of Mice and Men
The Pillars of the Earth
This was interesting, but became very strange as you continue to read. Not sure exactly what I got from this tale.
How horrible for the cat! Very disturbing to read about someone mutilating a cat. I know it was only a story, but gheez!
I had read Alice in Wonderland many times, but it was not until I had fully matured that I actually understood it. Always thought Alice was on a bad acid trip; only to discover she had been dreaming under a tree. Too funny.
Having a law degree, I found this book very interesting. For those who are not familiar with law and its terms, it is most enlightening.
I really enjoyed this account of Ben Franklin; however, the book does not go far enough. It does wet your appetite to learn more about old Ben though.
A good primer for those who have not studied the law and for those of us who have.
A slow and nonsensical shortstory. Sad and leaves reader wondering why she continued after the first installment.
It was just a short story. The movie was only loosely based on it. I rather hope the movie will be better.
If you decide to read these short stories, get longer installments so you can follow them better. I gave up after 60 installments. Too hard to read the old way of writing.
It was a good first read.
Is this book any good?
