• Get Cooking finished

  Get Cooking I've been a fan of Mollie Katzen for years. I think "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest" was the first book by her that I purchased back in the early '80s. "Get Cooking" is a nice collection of easy-to-follow recipes. I tried the portabello mushroom dish and loved it. I posted this on 26 July 2010

Get Cooking - Get Cooking

I've been a fan of Mollie Katzen for years. I think "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest" was the first book by her that I purchased back in the early '80s. "Get Cooking" is a nice collection of easy-to-follow recipes. I tried the portabello mushroom dish and loved it.

Question of the Week - Question of the Week #47: Words to Live By

We went to my Dad's all-school reunion sometime in the mid-'60s. There was a display of class mottos and this one for a 1920-something high school class made a real impression on me:

"Don't grow a wishbone where your backbone should be."

I loved The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Our teacher read it to us when we were in third grade and I read it on my own several times after that.
