Oscar Wilde - Oscar Wilde
Oscar Wilde an Irishman and literary genius. I continue to be fascinated by his witticisms and play on word, such as "work is the curse of the drinking classes".
I studied the poem "Reading Gaol" in school, read the Picture of Dorian Gray and attended one of his plays in Dublin.
His works I would highly recommend.
Terrible pity he didn't live in more enlightened times
