OOps. I miswrote--not 30 dollars. I was looking at another book. I guess it will be a while before this book passes into the public domain; I'll just have to buy an old copy.
Is the copyright expired so that Kings Row could be free to the public? I just saw the movie, read reviews, and admit to being curious to read the actual novel. I found a copy on Amazon for $30 (old and in bad condition). Murder, incest, sadism, insanity, etc. Pretty racy stuff for the time period it was written in.
