I just finished reading Anne of Green Gables. I understand there are at least 8 books in the series, plus a couple more series that sound like fun as well...
Anne of Green Gables - I Love A Girl Who Appreciates Magic!
Anne's passions take her from the Pinnacles Of Joy to the Depths of Despair, but her ability to see goodness and beauty in almost anyone and everything around her is refreshing, as is her ability to see when she is being mean-spirited and try to correct it. It is a wonderful story, and I only wish they had the follow on volumes here in daily lit, so I could read those as well.
Question of the Week - Question of the Week #38: Books on Repeat
Two come to mind. One is "Family Blessings" by LaVyrle Spencer. It takes me through the whole gamut of emotions. The other is "I Will Fear No Evil" by Robert Heinlein. There are still some tech-y, futuristic gadgets in that book that I'd love tohave! Also the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings Series, the Harry Potter books , the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and Richard Bach's "Johnathon Liviston Seagull" and "Illusions". I have read others of his books, but these two are my favorites.
