The Diamond as Big as the Ritz - Pure fantasy

Really vivid fantasy...unless... Perhaps I'll take a trip out West, into the mountains.

The Man with Two Left Feet and Other Stories - Old Fashioned Fun

Wodehouse is one of my new favorites.

Tom Swift and His Submarine Boat - A wild ride

Interesting easy read. It will tell you what the world thought of inventors in a simpler time. Of course, it has all the usual Swift adventures along the way.

Tom Swift and His Sky Racer - Of course it's not great literature...

...but it is a classic. Reading it will tell you what the world thought of inventors and their marvelous productions in this much simpler time.

The Jungle - Not a ray of sunshine

This is possibly the most depressing book ever written...but still worth the effort.

Walden - Now I know why it was so difficult to read 40 years ago.

Finished it and am happy that I found DailyLit to do so...made it less painful to digest this very dense classic.
