Anna Karenina - All time favorite characters
i agree. i find myself grimacing or smirking or raising my eyebrows along with the characterizations. Each character, including the peasant, acts and reacts so accurately according the the circumstance right down to the glance or eye shift. While it is taking forever to finish, i do not want it to end.

I cannot help but see Anna as Vivian Leigh portrayed her. (or might have portrayed her). I'm greatly influenced by the same actress in her role in "Gone with the Wind".
